Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled operatives with the safe demolition of interior and exterior structures using hand tools (sledgehammers, breakers, crowbars) and under guidance for powered equipment.
- Manual handling of demolition debris including concrete, brick, timber, and metal, ensuring correct lifting techniques are followed to prevent injury.
- Segregate and sort waste materials on-site for recycling and disposal in accordance with environmental and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free work area, contributing to exemplary site housekeeping standards.
- Rigidly adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, site-specific rules, and wear provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and plant, and support the site team with general labouring duties as required.
Essential Skills & Requirements

- Proven experience as a Construction Labourer or Demolition Labourer.
- Valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- Excellent understanding of site Health & Safety.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
