Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties
- First and Second Fix Joinery: Executing high-quality first and second fix carpentry and joinery within commercial and industrial units, including installing doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and kitchen units.
- Manufacturing & Installation: Manufacturing, fitting, and repairing bespoke joinery items such as counters, shelving, partitions, and storage solutions to precise specifications in fast-paced logistics environments.
- Maintenance & Repair: Conducting planned and reactive maintenance on existing joinery, fixtures, and fittings across the Magna Park estate, ensuring facilities remain operational and compliant.
- Material Management: Accurately measuring, marking, cutting, and shaping timber, board materials, and associated fittings using both hand tools and power tools (e.g., circular saws, routers, planers).
- Site Compliance & Safety: Working strictly in accordance with site health and safety regulations, including RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements), and maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work area at all times.
