Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties
- Safely operating a range of PCV vehicles (single-decker, double-decker, minibus) on scheduled routes across Reading, Berkshire, and the surrounding Thames Valley areas.
- Providing excellent customer service, assisting passengers with inquiries, ensuring accessibility needs are met, and handling cashless fare systems.
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks (DEFECT reporting), basic first-line maintenance, and ensuring the bus is clean, fuelled, and presented to a high standard.
- Adhering strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and Drivers' Hours regulations (EU & GB), and completing all necessary digital tachograph and mileage records accurately.

Essential Requirements & Qualifications
To be considered for this immediate start Bus Driver role, you must possess:
- A full, valid UK Category D (PCV) driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
- A valid, in-date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card.
- Excellent knowledge of the Reading RG2 and wider Berkshire road network.
