Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties
In this Pharmacy Assistant / Technician role, you will be an integral part of the pharmacy team. Your responsibilities will be varied and essential to smooth operations, ensuring patients receive accurate and timely service.

- Administrative Support: Handle telephone enquiries, process NHS paperwork, maintain patient records, and support the day-to-day administrative functions of the pharmacy. This aspect of the role shares similarities with an Admin Assistant position but within a highly regulated healthcare context.

Essential Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience & Qualifications: For Technician roles, you must be a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician. For Assistant roles, an NVQ Level 2/3 in Pharmacy Services or significant proven experience in a UK pharmacy setting is essential.
- Product & Legal Knowledge: A strong working knowledge of common medicines, OTC products, and the legal framework governing pharmacy practice (including the Medicines Act).
