What the Role Involves

As an LGV Class 2 Driver placed by Staff Direct in Peterborough, you will be operating Category C vehicles across established regional routes, supporting client operations that demand precision, punctuality, and professionalism. • Driving Category C (Class 2) rigid vehicles on regional and national routes
• Collecting and delivering goods safely, accurately, and on schedule
• Operating tail-lift and manual handling equipment compliantly
• Completing digital tachograph checks at the start and end of every shift
• Conducting thorough walkaround vehicle safety checks
• Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and PODs
• Communicating proactively with depot control and delivery points
• Adhering to Working Time Directive and Highway Code at all times
