Core Responsibilities & Duties
- Installation, repair, and maintenance of domestic and commercial plumbing systems, including hot & cold water systems, drainage, and above-ground soil systems.
- Diagnosing faults, performing pressure tests, and carrying out repairs on leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures in line with current Water Regulations and British Standards.
- Working with copper, plastic, and steel pipework, performing soldering, press-fitting, and solvent welding to a high standard.
- Installing and servicing bathrooms, kitchens, and wet rooms, including sanitaryware, taps, showers, and associated appliances.
- Completing work reports and job sheets accurately, maintaining clear communication with the site supervisor and our agency consultant.
- Adhering strictly to all health & safety regulations, including site-specific RAMS, and working safely at all times.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent time-served apprenticeship with proven experience.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential for site mobility in Salford M3).
- Own basic hand tools and PPE (larger power tools provided by client).
- Strong knowledge of current building regulations pertaining to plumbing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
